A new client asked about “SEO Deliverables”. Here was my reply. I think gives a good insight into how we view SEO, and how we work with our clients.
Each month we do a combination of on-page optimisation, off-page optimisation and consultation. Where we see ourselves getting the biggest wins each month will determine the exact mix appropriate to you.
In October we did the following:
Strategy planning (internal)
Meta tag optimisation
Link building consulting
Off-site content creation and link building (10 articles)
For your monthly fee of [redacted] we would aim to spend a minimum of [redacted] hours working on your SEO. Whether that be consulting, off-page or on-page depends on what your site needs. For example, the first few months always require a bit more in consulting. Upon analysis we noted that the on-page elements of your site started off pretty good, so we weighted link building as being more important in September and October. In the month that you get the new design implemented we will probably need to spend more time with on-page SEO.
